First is my God. Then Family, included in family is my pets. My friends are important to me.
God is wonderful. Without God I would have nothing. He has blessed me with so much in my life, family, friends,and wonderful pets.
He has blessed me with illness, pain, sadness, loss of love ones, loss of friends. You say how can you call those things a blessing? Without these things I wouldn't know how blessed I was. You have to have both to understand Gos blessings.
God gave me so much. He also took away so much. Being without love ones makes me appreciate the ones that are still here. Losing friends, makes me realize what true friendship is. Sickness makes me appreciate good days. Its all good in the end.
My Husband is a blessing he is loving, patience, kind, hardworking. I could not of asked for a better husband.
My four children all are different, they have different personalities. All four are loved. I wish each of them a full and happy life.
My youngest daughter and her son my husband and I all live together. Its wonderful having her around, her smile and wit is so uplifting. Her son he keeps my life full of sunshine. He is just like her full of sunshine.
My son, he is a joy with great wit, smart. I just wish we saw each other more often.
My pets, right now I have four wonderful dogs and five cats. They all make me happy, they never complain, always wanting a hug and to give kisses.
My mother, I couldn't do anything without her. She and I bump heads but without her I would be so sad. She made me who I am today.
My Big Brother, he is my hero, always has been. I love him so much.
My little Brother, he is a stinker, was when we were little and never changed. I love him, even tho he is strange LOL
I have a handful of true friends. Friends that take me as I am. A few that want nothing but friendship from me. They call often, and they are there threw good times and bad.
These people fill my life with joy and my heart with love.
Our Home is our nest. It is were our flock gathers. We came by the name Nana and Papa when my grandparents died. That is what we called them. I wanted our home to be like theirs where everyone gathers. It is just that. That sounded like a good name for this blog. I hope many of you gather here, take a seat and stay awhile.

- The nest is our home. We moved from the city to the country 8 years ago when our grandson was born. My daughter and grandson ,my husband and I all live together. Its a wonderful relationship and arrangement. My daughter and Husband work outside the home. I stay home and homeschool our grandson. We live in the woods in a double wide. People think we are nuts moving from a brick home with a in ground swimming pool to a double wide in the woods. Our home is big 2400 sq feet 3 acres of land, woods all around. We live on a dirt road. We can have gardens, animals. Enjoying the wild animals we see are just lovely. Deer, foxes, racoons, snakes, , chipmunks things you don't see in the city. Its so quiet out here, we listen to the frogs and crickets at night. We all love it here. We have a pool , so in the summer time the flock swarms in for refreshing swims. In the winter we all gather by the fire place to keep warm with coffee and hot coco. Come join us for some good conversation, some fun and a cup of what ever warms you , coco, coffee, hot cider. Put your feet up and enjoy. Welcome to our nest.
